Online consultation

Online consultation with a doctor is a flexible and convenient way to reach a highly qualified medical expert. We offer the opportunity to book an online consultation with one of our doctors. During a video consultation, you can ask the doctor all your questions, hear the doctor’s opinion and recommendations, and discuss options for further treatment.

• How to sign up for an online consultation?

To sign up for a video consultation with one of our doctors, fill out the contact form with your information and we will get in touch with you for more details.

• How much does an online consultation cost?

The cost of a consultation is 600 euros. You will receive an invoice that needs to be paid before the appointment.

• How long does an online consultation last?

Duration of a video consultation is 60 minutes.

• Language of the consultation

The language of the consultation is Finnish or English. Please do not hesitate to ask us about the other language options. We will do our best to arrange an interpreter for other languages too.

• What info do I need to provide?

We kindly ask you to send us all relevant medical documents in advance to provide the doctor with the necessary medical information before the consultation.
For example, for the diagnostics of breast cancer at least the following medical examinations would be necessary if you already have them :

• Mammography – images and statement
• Breast ultrasound examinations – statement
• Histological and immunohistochemical studies of biopsy
• Lab tests (complete blood count)
• How does the video consultation work?

For the video consultation, you will need a computer or a mobile phone with an internet connection and a camera. We recommend that you check the operation of the camera and microphone before the consultation.

You will receive a secure Zoom Health Care link by e-mail or text message. The conversations made through Zoom service are strictly confidential and are not saved in cloud services. You may want to check the permissions before the call.

On the day of the consultation, follow the link sent to you and wait for the connection with the doctor. A medical translator will be present at the consultation if needed.

• What happens after the consultation?

Upon the results of the consultation, the doctor prepares a detailed written statement including a further treatment plan, if needed. The statement will be sent to you by e-mail within 1-3 working days after the consultation.

• Cancellation policy

Cancellation of the booked video consultation is free of charge 24 hours before the appointed time.
